Hindustan Unilever Ltd (HUL) reported a 20.96% rise in consolidated net profit for the March quarter of FY26, amounting to ₹2,994 crore compared to ₹2,475 crore in the same period last year. This growth was attributed to an 8.13% increase in revenue from product sales, reaching ₹16,172 crore, driven by a 6% underlying volume growth. Total expenses rose by 7.2% to ₹16,615 crore, while total income, including other income, increased by 5.01% to ₹16,580 crore. HUL's overall profit for FY26 reached ₹15,059 crore, bolstered by the divestment of Nutritionalab. CEO Priya Nair noted that the financial year saw improved demand due to favorable macro-economic policies, and the company implemented various strategies to enhance growth. Looking forward, Nair acknowledged challenges from geopolitical tensions impacting commodity and currency markets but expressed confidence in HUL's ability to navigate these issues through disciplined savings and a resilient supply chain.
