SRF Ltd, a leading chemical manufacturer, announced an 11% increase in its consolidated net profit, reaching ₹582 crore for the quarter ending March 2026, compared to ₹526 crore in the same period last year. The total income for the quarter rose to ₹4,640 crore, up from ₹4,347 crore the previous year. For the fiscal year 2025-26, SRF's profit surged by 47% to ₹1,835 crore, with total income increasing to ₹15,893 crore from ₹14,826 crore in 2024-25. The company plans to invest ₹2,300 crore to establish a new plant in Odisha, focusing on producing next-generation refrigerants, including 20,000 tonnes of Hydrofluoroolefins (HFOs) and 30,000 tonnes of Anhydrous Hydrogen Fluoride (AHF). This project is expected to be completed by February 28, 2028 and will be financed through a mix of debt and internal accruals. Additionally, SRF will expand its existing Hydrofluorocarbons (HFC) capacity at Dahej with an investment of ₹88 crore, aiming to meet future demand.
