On Sunday, Odisha Governor Dr. Hari Babu Kambhampati visited the Army Air Defence College in Gopalpur, where he engaged with officers and personnel. He praised their professionalism and commitment to enhancing national defence capabilities through indigenous solutions and technological innovation. In a post on X, he expressed admiration for the College's efforts in addressing emerging security challenges. Additionally, the Governor inaugurated a 485 kWp rooftop solar power plant at Lok Bhavan, elevating its total solar capacity to 635 kW. This initiative underscores a shift towards renewable energy, aiming to mitigate reliance on imported crude oil. Kambhampati highlighted the significance of transitioning to electric vehicles and clean energy sources, reinforcing the government's support for wider adoption of rooftop solar systems through various subsidies.
