On Tuesday, a tragic incident unfolded in Kanti, Muzaffarpur district, Bihar, where Rita Devi, a 30-year-old woman, and her two children, Vaishnavi Kumari (3) and Rudra Kumar (7 months), were allegedly murdered. The police reported that all three victims were found strangled, with injuries on their necks and blood oozing from their noses. Rita's husband, Santosh Kumar Sah, discovered the bodies after returning home from a wedding function in Samastipur. He found the house locked from the outside and suspected foul play linked to a family dispute, accusing his cousins of the crime. Two women have been detained for questioning, while the police are searching for the absconding relatives. The bodies have been sent for post-mortem examination, and forensic experts are assisting in the investigation.
