He noted that these aircraft are tested under strict requirements, claiming that their safety margins are traditionally high and comparable to those of foreign aircraft. Badekha specifically pointed to the Superjet, indicating that its reliability metrics can sometimes surpass those of established brands like Boeing and Airbus. His comments come as the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF-2026) is set to take place from June 3-6, with the theme "Pragmatic Dialogue: The Path to a Stable Future." This year, Saudi Arabia is the guest country, and the forum will address the evolving landscape of the global economy, featuring various discussions and cultural events, including the Petersburg Seasons festival and SPIEF Sports Games.
