The Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) has initiated the formation of dedicated teams aimed at maintaining and repairing master roads in Gurugram, Haryana, India. This decision was made by GMDA CEO PC Meena following an inspection of the city's roads. The newly formed teams are tasked with prioritizing the repair of damaged systems and will communicate through dedicated WhatsApp groups to ensure real-time coordination and effective supervision. Meena has directed officials to address various maintenance issues, including the removal of silt deposits, construction waste, and damaged slabs. Additionally, there will be a focus on removing wild vegetation and properly maintaining green belts. The CEO has stressed the importance of strict monitoring and accountability, stating that regular inspections will be conducted and negligence will not be tolerated.
