India's Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) reaffirmed its right to defend against terrorism sponsored by Pakistan on the first anniversary of Operation Sindoor, which was launched in response to the Pahalgam terror attack in April last year. During a media briefing, spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal stated that India will persist in its efforts to combat global terrorism and highlighted the necessity of holding Pakistan accountable for its actions.
