The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has announced the results for the 2026 Class 10 (ICSE) and Class 12 (ISC) board examinations, revealing a marginal increase in overall pass percentages. This year, 99.18% of students passed Class 10, up from 99.09% in 2025, while 99.13% cleared Class 12, compared to 99.02% last year. A total of 2,58,721 students from 2,957 schools appeared for the ICSE exams, and 1,03,316 students from 1,553 schools took the ISC exams. Girls continued to outperform boys, with Class 10 girls achieving a pass rate of 99.46% and Class 12 girls at 99.48%. The West region led Class 10 results with a 99.85% pass rate, while the Southern region topped Class 12 with 99.87%. In the Delhi–NCR region, 99.78% of Class 10 students and 99.66% of Class 12 students passed. Notably, candidates with learning difficulties also excelled, with several scoring above 90%.
