The Indian Institute of Technology, Madras Pravartak is offering a free online course titled 'Out of the Box Thinking' that focuses on enhancing creative problem-solving abilities through mathematics and logic. The registration process is currently open and will remain available until July 31, 2026. This course is designed for a diverse audience, including school and college students, graduates, and working professionals. Launched in June 2022, it has already attracted over 319,536 candidates, demonstrating its popularity and relevance. The course encourages participants to adopt indirect and creative approaches to challenges, moving beyond traditional methods. Engaging modules, puzzles, and real-world applications are integral components of the curriculum, aimed at helping learners analyze situations from multiple perspectives. Professor V. Kamakoti, Director of IIT Madras, emphasized the program's goal of fostering innovative thinking among students, making problem-solving not only easier but also more meaningful.
