On Saturday, Patna Airport authorities discovered seven live cartridges in the handbag of Santosh Tiwari, a 32-year-old software engineer, during routine baggage screening. Tiwari was charged under the Arms Act but was later released on bail. He claimed he was unaware of the cartridges and suspected that someone else might have placed them in his bag. In a separate incident, an empty cartridge was found in the bag of 23-year-old student Muskan Kumari. The police stated that no formal charges were filed against her, as she explained that she had found the empty shell three months ago and had simply forgotten about it.
