Lucknow police have arrested three individuals in connection with the murder of Shivam Singh, a youth leader from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). The arrests were made following a coordinated operation involving the Crime Branch, SWAT team, and local police in the Vibhutikhand area. Shivam Singh was brutally attacked with stones on the night of May 25-26 and later died from his injuries. The suspects, identified as Shantanu alias Ankit Rawat, Honey Tiwari alias Vivek, and Vivek Singh, were apprehended based on CCTV footage and technical evidence. The police also recovered the stone used in the crime. A manhunt is currently underway for a fourth suspect, Anuj Singh, with a reward of ₹25,000 offered for information leading to his arrest. The Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (ADCP), East, confirmed the arrests and stated that further investigations are ongoing, with police teams actively pursuing the absconding suspect.
