Anthropic, the developer behind Claude AI, is broadening access to its Mythos AI model, which specializes in detecting critical software vulnerabilities, to more than 15 countries, including India. This initiative, under Project Glasswing, will benefit 150 organizations across allied nations, positioning Mythos as a vital cybersecurity tool for governments and infrastructure operators. The model is capable of identifying previously unknown flaws, known as 'zero-day' vulnerabilities, which can be exploited by hackers. India’s inclusion is particularly significant as it is not part of traditional Western intelligence alliances like the Five Eyes or NATO, reflecting its emerging role in global technology and cybersecurity. With rising cyber threats targeting its financial and governmental systems, access to advanced AI-driven tools like Mythos could enhance India's capacity to identify vulnerabilities and respond to attacks.
