The UP Joint B.Ed Entrance Examination 2026 saw participation from 16,430 out of 18,336 registered candidates on Sunday, held at 19 centers in Kanpur. The examination was organized by Bundelkhand University and took place in two shifts, with the first shift running from 9 am to 12 noon and the second from 2 pm to 5 pm. Each shift had approximately 9,168 candidates enrolled. Attendance was high, with 8,211 candidates present in the first shift and 8,219 in the second shift, while 957 and 949 candidates, respectively, were absent. The district administration ensured security by installing CCTV cameras at all centers, with live monitoring conducted from a control room. Candidates reported that the exam was balanced, with some describing it as moderate. Arrangements at the centers received positive feedback, with candidates noting the excellent conditions and smooth operations.
