The incident occurred following alleged strict disciplinary action taken by a schoolteacher, which included public humiliation and punishment. According to police, the boy was forced to stand outside the principal's office for two hours after being caught in a school corridor. He was hospitalized for three days before succumbing to his injuries on Thursday. Following the incident, the senior superintendent of police, Aditya, confirmed that a first information report (FIR) has been filed against the teacher under Section 108 (abetment of suicide) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
