In Thane, India, a murder case has been registered against five individuals for the fatal stabbing of a man during a clash between rival groups early Sunday morning. The police reported that the incident took place around 2:40 AM near a tea stall in Shastri Nagar, where the victim, Vishnu, was having tea with his associates. Prakash Tikhe, also known as Pakya, confronted Vishnu, asserting his dominance in the area and brandishing a knife. During the confrontation, Pakya allegedly stabbed Vishnu multiple times in the chest as he attempted to flee, resulting in Vishnu's death at the scene. Following the attack, a violent clash erupted between the two groups, leading to injuries for Pakya, who was subsequently admitted to a local hospital. The police indicated that the altercation was likely a continuation of a previous dispute between the two groups. One suspect has been arrested, while the police continue to investigate the incident, noting that both the accused and the victim have criminal histories.
