Daikin, a leading Japanese air conditioning manufacturer, will invest ₹1,000 crore in Manesar, Haryana, to set up a cutting-edge research and development (R&D) center. This facility will be the largest of its kind in India, aiming to foster technological innovation and solidify Haryana's position as an industrial hub. Chief Minister Nayab Saini announced that the investment would generate over 500 new jobs for local youth, highlighting a significant boost in Japanese companies' confidence in investing in the state. This initiative is a direct result of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed during Saini's visit to Japan in October. The Haryana government is committed to enhancing the ease of doing business, implementing a single-window system to streamline processes for industrial investors, thereby attracting more foreign investments.
