Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini announced that Daikin, a leading Japanese air-conditioner manufacturer, will invest around ₹1,000 crore (approximately $120 million USD) to establish a Research and Development (R&D) center in Manesar, Haryana, India. This facility will be the largest of its kind in the country and is expected to create over 500 jobs for local youth. Saini highlighted that this investment is a testament to the effectiveness of the state government’s industry-friendly policies, which have fostered a conducive environment for foreign investments. The Chief Minister emphasized the government's commitment to enhancing the 'Ease of Doing Business' by implementing a single-window system for industrial investors, streamlining processes, and reducing costs. This initiative is part of Haryana's broader strategy to attract more foreign companies and create employment opportunities, further establishing the state as an industrial hub.
