The Communist Party of India (CPI) State secretary Gujjula Eswaraiah has requested a comprehensive investigation into the alleged NEET-2026 paper leak, to be supervised by a sitting judge of the Supreme Court of India. He has raised concerns about the involvement of major corporate groups based in Andhra Pradesh, urging the state government, led by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, to take decisive action. Eswaraiah described the situation as a serious conspiracy orchestrated by what he terms the 'education mafia,' which he claims jeopardizes the futures of lakhs of students nationwide. Reports indicate that the leak network may have connections to Rajasthan’s Sikar region, with question papers allegedly circulated via WhatsApp and Telegram prior to the examination. Eswaraiah pointed out that over 100 questions from the leaked material matched those on the final NEET examination paper. He also criticized the National Testing Agency for its lack of transparency in conducting national-level examinations and called for a complete overhaul of the agency. Furthermore, he urged the Union government to enhance security for national exams and impose strict regulations on the corporate coaching sector in education.
