Following violent protests by workers in Noida, Gautam Buddh Nagar district has ramped up security measures ahead of International Labour Day on May 1. The administration has imposed Section 163 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, from April 30 to May 8, ensuring law and order through extensive police deployment.
