On Saturday night, Israel's Home Front Command revised its security guidelines for communities in the northern region due to escalating tensions with Hezbollah. Effective from 9:00 p.m. Saturday until 8:00 p.m. Monday, the new rules limit outdoor gatherings to 50 people and indoor gatherings to 200, while public beaches are closed. All educational activities in border towns are canceled, although workplaces may continue to operate if they provide protected spaces. In the northern Golan Heights and Upper Galilee, schools can remain open if there are accessible protected areas. Following missile attacks from Hezbollah, including a barrage that struck near Nahariya beach, residents were forced to rush to shelters as air raid sirens sounded. The IDF has indicated plans to intensify its military operations against Hezbollah, which has recently targeted areas further into Israeli territory than before. Additionally, the Galilee Medical Center will relocate its operations underground for safety.
