On Saturday afternoon, Pratibha Manish Shankar, a 34-year-old woman, tragically fell from the eighth floor of her apartment at the VTP Urban Life residential project in Talegaon Dabhade, Pune district, India. Witnesses reported that she was seen hanging from the gallery of her home around 1:30 PM. Despite her husband's efforts to pull her back up, she fell while her son watched helplessly. The incident was captured on video, which quickly went viral, prompting shock in the local community. Following the incident, police arrived to conduct an investigation and took her body for a postmortem examination. A panchnama was performed at the scene, and an accidental death report was filed at the Talegaon MIDC police station. Senior police inspector Santosh Patil indicated that while initial assessments suggest a possible suicide, further investigation is underway to ascertain the exact circumstances surrounding her death.
