This remarkable feat came after 56,192 students took the exams, which ended at 5:30 PM on Friday, with results released by 5:40 PM. The students achieved an impressive pass percentage of 99.98%. Previously, VTU had set a record in 2025 by announcing results within one hour, highlighting the university's commitment to improving efficiency. The results were sent directly to students' mobile phones, enhancing accessibility. VTU Vice-Chancellor S Vidyashankar praised the administrative and exam staff for their efforts, noting that the quick announcement is particularly beneficial for final-year students seeking jobs and further education. Registrar (Evaluation) U J Ujwal explained that the university's adoption of digital evaluation methods played a crucial role in this achievement, allowing for a streamlined results process.
