On June 8, 2026, students from Manasarowar Pushkarini Vidyashrama and St. Maria De Mattias School participated in an aviation familiarisation visit at Mysuru Airport. This initiative is part of the lead-up to Yatri Suvidha Diwas 2026, scheduled for June 15. During their visit, students toured the airport's passenger terminal, learning about passenger facilitation measures and airport operations. They also explored the airport fire station, where they were briefed on Airport Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) services and emergency response mechanisms. A highlight was their interaction with professionals at the Orient Flying School, where they were introduced to flight training fundamentals and aviation careers. This programme aims to raise awareness among students about the aviation industry and inspire future career exploration. Mysuru Airport emphasizes its commitment to community engagement through educational initiatives that enhance public understanding of aviation and improve passenger experiences.
