During a review meeting on Monday, Haryana cabinet minister Rao Narbir Singh addressed key civic issues in Gurugram, including flood prevention, drainage, drinking water supply, and road repairs. He highlighted the importance of completing the desilting of drains before the monsoon season to mitigate waterlogging risks. Singh noted that construction of drainage systems in sectors 68 to 75 and 112 to 115 is currently underway. The Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) reported that road works worth ₹447 crore (approximately $54 million USD) are in progress, while projects totaling ₹1,271 crore (approximately $153 million USD) are awaiting allotment. Additionally, new projects valued at ₹1,870 crore (approximately $225 million USD) are in the planning and approval stages.
