The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) celebrated its 63rd Foundation Day on Saturday, highlighting its significant growth and commitment to digital transformation. As an autonomous body under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, IIFT has expanded its campuses across New Delhi, Kolkata, Kakinada, and GIFT City, reflecting its evolving global outlook. A key feature of the celebration was the launch of a new website aimed at improving user experience for students and stakeholders. Union Minister of Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal and Commerce Secretary Rajesh Agrawal commended the institute's contributions to trade education and its role in strengthening India's position in global trade. The institute is also enhancing its academic engagement through initiatives like international collaborations and research-driven case studies, aiming to become a world-class business school.
