For instance, Sony's internal teams are utilizing AI to automate repetitive tasks in quality assurance and 3D modeling, with tools like Mockingbird allowing artists to convert motion capture data into animations much faster than before. Additionally, AI is being used to realistically model hairstyles in games, replacing labor-intensive processes. Sony Group President Hiroki Totoki also highlighted a partnership with Bandai Namco, which has shown significant productivity gains in video production.
