A tragic motorcycle accident in Madhubani district, Bihar, on Saturday resulted in the deaths of five individuals, including a husband and wife. The incident occurred when one of the motorcycle riders attempted to overtake another vehicle, leading to a head-on collision. The deceased have been identified as Rahmatullah alias Rajan (38) and his wife Rukhsar Khatoon (34), along with three 18-year-old youths: Sachin Kumar, Sujit Kumar, and Karan Kumar. Rahmatullah and Rukhsar were traveling to Ladania, Rukhsar's parental village, for a medical consultation, while the three youths were on their way to Jainagar to catch a train. Tragically, Sachin Kumar died at the scene, and Sujit and Karan later succumbed to their injuries during treatment at DMCH in Darbhanga. Following the accident, local police confirmed that the bodies were handed over to the families after completing the necessary paperwork. This incident highlights the dangers of reckless driving and the devastating impact of road accidents in the region.
