Early Saturday morning, gunfire erupted outside the Replay Lounge, located in the 900 block of Massachusetts Street in downtown Lawrence, Kansas. The incident occurred around 2 a.m. during a fight, which led to chaos as patrons ran for safety. Fortunately, no one was struck by the gunfire, although a bar employee sustained minor injuries while attempting to break up the altercation. Witnesses reported that one individual involved in the fight brandished a firearm and fired at least two shots before fleeing the scene with others. Officers discovered several shell casings at the location and are actively investigating. They have released a photo of a black Nissan registered in Topeka, seeking information from the public to assist in their inquiries.
