Shares of Multi Commodity Exchange of India (MCX) jumped 3.8% to a 52-week high of ₹3,215 on May 11, 2026, following a remarkable 291% increase in profit after tax (PAT) for the fourth quarter of FY26, reaching ₹530 crore compared to ₹135 crore in the same quarter last year. Revenue from operations also saw a significant boost, climbing 205% to ₹889 crore. The exchange's strong performance was further supported by its announcement of an ₹8 dividend per equity share, pending approval at the upcoming Annual General Meeting. MCX has established itself as the world's largest commodity options exchange and the fourth-largest overall, driven by robust growth in its bullion, metals, and energy segments. The average daily turnover in futures and options grew substantially, with 496% growth in bullion and 116% in metals.
