Shares of Multi Commodity Exchange of India (MCX) experienced a 4% increase on Monday, driven by impressive financial results for the fourth quarter of the financial year 2026. The company's net profit soared to ₹530 crore, a 291% increase from ₹135 crore in the same quarter last year. Revenue from operations also saw significant growth, climbing 205% to ₹889 crore compared to ₹291 crore in Q4 FY25. Sequentially, net profit rose 32% from ₹401 crore in Q3 FY26, while revenue increased 34% from ₹666 crore in the previous quarter. MCX's EBITDA grew 271% year-on-year to ₹530 crore, with an EBITDA margin of 76%. The board has proposed a final dividend of ₹8 per equity share, pending shareholder approval. For the entire financial year, MCX's net profit reached ₹1,332 crore, marking a 135% increase from ₹560 crore in FY25, with total revenue rising 107% to ₹2,302 crore. MCX Managing Director and CEO Praveena Rai highlighted the company's focused strategy and increased market participation as key drivers of growth. The stock has shown strong performance, gaining 10% in the past week and 20% over the past month, with a remarkable 1,066% increase over three years.
