Students expressed dissatisfaction over perceived discrepancies in their marks, particularly in subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics. In response, CBSE emphasized that the OSM was designed to ensure transparency, fairness, and consistency in the evaluation process, stating that it promotes uniformity and objectivity across assessments. Despite student protests and a petition signed by over 30,000 individuals demanding re-evaluation, CBSE reiterated its commitment to maintaining a just assessment system. The Board also reminded students of their right to apply for re-evaluation and request copies of their evaluated answer sheets if they notice discrepancies.
