On Friday, Cyprus President Nikos Christodoulides and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced a series of agreements aimed at boosting cooperation in technology and space sectors. The signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Innovation and Technology will promote collaboration among research centers, startups, and academic institutions, focusing on emerging technologies such as ethical AI. Both leaders emphasized the importance of the space sector as a foundation for economic and technological advancement, with India's Space Policy 2023 facilitating private sector involvement in space activities. Additionally, they welcomed an MoU in Higher Education and Research to enhance academic exchanges and joint research initiatives.
