The Gujarat state government is organizing the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference (VGRC) on May 1-2 at AURO University in Surat, focusing on the significance of GIFT City, India's first operational International Financial Services Centre (IFSC). The conference will feature seminars highlighting GIFT City's role in finance and fintech, including a dedicated session titled “GIFT City: International Financial Gateway of India,” led by Sanjay Kaul, MD and Group CEO of GIFT City. Attendees will engage in discussions on cross-border finance, capital markets, and wealth creation opportunities. Additionally, a Gujarat Global Capability Centers (GCC) Conclave will explore the state’s GCC Policy for 2025-30, emphasizing infrastructure, skilled workforce availability, and ease of doing business. The conference aims to position South Gujarat as a growth engine through innovation and entrepreneurship, with expert sessions on startups in high-impact sectors and sustainable industrial transformation.
