Shares of HDFC Asset Management Company (AMC) rose nearly 5% in early trading after the company reported its financial results for the fourth quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2026. The stock reached a high of ₹2,789 on the National Stock Exchange (NSE). HDFC AMC's consolidated profit after tax (PAT) decreased by 2.4% to ₹622.66 crore, down from ₹638.46 crore in the same quarter last year. However, the company's revenue from operations saw a robust 17% year-on-year growth, reaching ₹1,051.51 crore. For the full fiscal year, HDFC AMC's profit grew by 16% to ₹2,858.06 crore, while revenue increased by 18% to ₹4,122.16 crore. The board has also proposed a final dividend of ₹54 per equity share for the fiscal year. Motilal Oswal has reiterated a 'Buy' rating on HDFC AMC, setting a target price of ₹3,170, which suggests an upside of around 17% from the current market price. The brokerage emphasized that HDFC AMC's non-mutual fund business will contribute to future growth, and it expects the company's revenue to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 13% over the next few years.
