The Koderma district administration in Jharkhand, India, is currently reviewing the performance of 40 schools following a disappointing 93.86% pass rate in the Class X board exams conducted by the Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC). This marks a significant decline from the previous year when Koderma celebrated a top rank in the exams. Out of 12,214 students who sat for the exams, 11,465 passed, raising concerns about the effectiveness of various educational initiatives, including ‘Project Impact’ and specialized coaching facilities. Koderma district education officer Avinash Ram stated that action will be taken based on the review results to ensure high educational standards and improve student outcomes. Deputy commissioner Utkarsh Gupta also mentioned that a new workflow will be implemented to enhance student performance, demonstrating the administration's commitment to improving the quality of education.
