The Jharkhand Academic Council announced Class 12 results revealing that girls outperformed boys in commerce and arts streams, while boys excelled in science. The overall pass percentage was 82.92% in science, 93.27% in commerce, and 96.14% in arts.

The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) released the Class 12 examination results, showcasing a notable performance by female students in the commerce and arts streams. Girls achieved a pass percentage of 95.70% in commerce and 96.68% in arts, while boys led in science with a pass rate of 83.02% compared to 82.76% for girls. The overall pass percentages were 82.92% for science, 93.27% for commerce, and 96.14% for arts, marking a 3.66% increase from the previous year’s overall pass rate of 79.26%. Among the top performers, Choti Kumari from KN Plus-2 High School in Bokaro and Sweta Prasad from Yogoda Satsanga Intermediate Mahavidyalaya in Ranchi both scored 95.6% in their respective streams. Rashida Naaz from DAV Plus-2 High School in Dhanbad topped the arts stream with 97.8% marks. In total, 90,168 students appeared for the science stream, with 74,771 passing the exam.
