In light of global energy supply chain disruptions, the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas in India has confirmed that the country maintains adequate crude oil stocks and that there is no fuel shortage. Sujata Sharma, the ministry's representative, stated during a briefing in New Delhi that refineries are operating efficiently. She highlighted that the government has implemented effective measures to ensure a continuous fuel supply with minimal inconvenience to consumers. Over the past three days, 1 crore 26 lakh LPG cylinders were delivered to households, surpassing the 1 crore 14 lakh bookings. Additionally, sales of commercial LPG exceeded 17,000 tonnes, and Auto LPG sales surpassed 762 tonnes.
