The National Testing Agency (NTA) has launched a fee refund portal for candidates of the NEET (UG)-2026 examination, enabling them to submit their bank account details for refunds. This facility is accessible from May 22 to May 27, 2026, with a final submission deadline of 11:50 pm on the latter date. Candidates are required to log into the NEET-UG registration portal to access the refund link and must fill in their bank account information as specified in Annexure-I. While uploading a cancelled cheque is optional, it is encouraged to ensure accuracy. This refund process follows the cancellation of the NEET-UG exam due to serious allegations of irregularities and a paper leak, which sparked public outrage and led to a CBI investigation. In response to these issues, the re-examination is scheduled for June 21, 2026, with the Union Education Ministry implementing stricter security measures and transitioning the exam to a computer-based test format in the following year to mitigate future irregularities.
