Bharti Airtel has revised the pricing of its popular 84-day prepaid recharge plan, increasing the cost from Rs 859 to Rs 899. This plan continues to offer 1.5GB of daily data, unlimited calling across local, STD, and national roaming networks, and 100 SMS per day. After the daily data limit is reached, internet speeds drop to 64 Kbps. Customers will also enjoy additional benefits such as 12-month access to Adobe Express Premium, spam protection alerts, and complimentary Hellotunes with one free change every 30 days. Notably, the cashback-linked RewardsMini benefit from the previous plan is no longer included. This price adjustment signals a targeted strategy to enhance customer spending and average revenue per user without triggering backlash from price-sensitive customers. While this change is limited to a single product, it does not necessarily indicate a broader tariff hike across Airtel's offerings. Earlier this year, Airtel also increased the price of its Global International Roaming pack from Rs 4,000 to Rs 4,999.
