In the last week, the combined market capitalization of eight of India's top ten firms surged by ₹1,87,497.45 crore. Bharti Airtel emerged as the biggest gainer, with its market valuation rising by ₹58,831.52 crore to reach ₹11,25,125.21 crore. The overall market trend was supported by a 943.29-point increase in the BSE Sensex and a 302.95-point rise in the NSE Nifty, reflecting improved investor sentiment amid easing geopolitical tensions. Other notable gains included ₹27,608.62 crore for Life Insurance Corporation of India, ₹20,731.64 crore for Tata Consultancy Services, and ₹20,231.05 crore for Reliance Industries. However, HDFC Bank and Bajaj Finance saw declines in their market capitalizations, with HDFC Bank dropping by ₹16,163.04 crore.
