On Friday, security forces uncovered a significant terrorist hideout in the Bajmandoo forest area of Kishtwar district, Jammu and Kashmir. During the operation, they seized a variety of weapons and explosives, including one carbine gun, one pistol, and one Under Barrel Grenade Launcher (UBGL), along with 97 rounds of 9 mm and 18 rounds of 7.62 mm live ammunition. The hideout was linked to a terrorist commander who had been eliminated in the past. In a separate initiative, a multi-agency counter-terrorist exercise was conducted at Srinagar international airport to enhance response protocols and operational readiness among security agencies.
