The Philippine House of Representatives has passed House Bill No. 8583, which seeks to convert the Agusan del Sur School of Arts and Trades (ASSAT) in Prosperidad, Agusan del Sur, into the Agusan del Sur Polytechnic Institute (ADSPI).
