The decline was further influenced by a broader sell-off in IT stocks following OpenAI's announcement of the OpenAI Deployment Company. During a conference call, management described a 'cautiously optimistic' outlook, indicating that growth would be driven by AI-led initiatives, although uncertainties among larger clients prompted the decision to withhold specific guidance. In its latest quarterly results, Sonata reported a remarkable 322% increase in net profit, reaching ₹76 crore, alongside a 55% rise in revenue to ₹411 crore. The company secured $16.9 million in AI and modernization deals, with an AI-led pipeline totaling $280 million. Analysts from Emkay Global Financial Services adjusted their earnings per share estimates by approximately 1% for FY27 and FY28 but retained a 'Buy' rating with a target price of ₹370.
