Shares of Sonata Software, a smallcap IT services company, surged nearly 13% in intraday trading on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) following the announcement of its Q4 FY2026 results. The stock opened at ₹275 and reached an intraday high of ₹303.30, with trading volume significantly increasing to 19.2 million shares compared to just 0.7 million in the previous session. For the March quarter, the company reported a net profit of ₹130.5 crore, marking a 21.4% increase from ₹107.53 crore in the same period last year. However, consolidated revenue fell by 3.1% to ₹2,536.2 crore. Despite the revenue decline, consolidated EBITDA rose by 20.8% to ₹208.7 crore. For the full financial year FY26, Sonata Software's net profit grew by 9.3% to ₹464.4 crore, with total revenue increasing by over 5% to ₹10,701.2 crore. The board has also recommended a final dividend of ₹4.15 per equity share, subject to shareholder approval at the upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM).
