The death toll from a road accident in Churu district, Rajasthan, has risen to four after one of the injured, Kamal (22), succumbed to injuries at SMS Hospital in Jaipur. The accident occurred on Thursday night on the Pilani–Sadulpur road, near the Thirpali village toll plaza, when a sports utility vehicle collided head-on with a dumper truck, resulting in both vehicles catching fire. Three occupants of the SUV were burnt alive at the scene, while five others sustained serious injuries. The deceased have been identified as Rohit, Sandip, and Ankit, with identification aided by DNA tests due to the charred condition of the bodies. The injured individuals include Pankaj (20) and Anand (20) from Mandarpura village in Hanumangarh district, Vikas (24) from Sidhmukh town in Churu, and Ashish from Hisar district in Haryana.
