On Monday, schools across Mysuru reopened with a vibrant atmosphere, featuring colorful rangolis, mango leaf buntings, and decorated classrooms to welcome students back after summer vacation. Teachers warmly greeted the children with traditional aarti, distributing sweets and flowers. Students expressed excitement to reunite with friends and share summer experiences. At the Government Primary and High School in Kukkarahalli, new textbooks, uniforms, notebooks, and bags were provided to students, supported by local sponsors. The Karnataka Public School in Kuvempu Nagar organized an awareness march to promote education, with slogans encouraging enrollment in government schools. MLA T S Srivathsa joined the march, highlighting the importance of education and the successful enrollment in the South zone, where many students achieved good academic results. The festive reopening included cultural activities like 'tamate' performances and Saraswathi puja for younger classes, marking a joyful return to learning for the children.
