This initiative, announced by BCCI Secretary Devajit Saikia, aims to ease Sooryavanshi's transition from youth cricket to the demands of international play. Sooryavanshi, who recently made headlines with a record-breaking IPL 2026 season where he scored 776 runs, is set to join the senior Indian team following his selection for the T20I series. Saikia highlighted the board's responsibility to ensure that young players like Sooryavanshi do not feel isolated in unfamiliar environments. His father is currently with him in Sri Lanka, where he is part of the India A side, and arrangements are being made for his father to travel with him to the UK and Ireland. The BCCI's actions reflect a commitment to the well-being of young athletes as they navigate the challenges of professional sports.
