Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, a 15-year-old batting sensation, will travel with his parents on India's upcoming cricket tours after earning his first senior international call-up. He was selected for the T20 squad for the tours to Ireland and England, as well as the Asian Games, following an outstanding performance in the Indian Premier League (IPL), where he scored 776 runs, making him the tournament's leading run scorer. Sooryavanshi's achievements in the IPL included one century and five half-centuries, earning him the Orange Cap, the most valuable player award, and the emerging player prize. His selection marks a significant milestone as he is poised to become India's youngest player, potentially surpassing the record set by cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has confirmed that arrangements will be made for Sooryavanshi's parents to accompany him, providing crucial support during the tours. Chief selector Ajit Agarkar noted that Sooryavanshi's performances have made his selection almost inevitable, expressing high hopes for the young talent.
