In response to numerous student complaints regarding the Central Board of Secondary Education's (CBSE) post-result services portal, the board has extended the deadline for Class 12 answer sheet verification and re-evaluation applications by one day, now set for June 7 at midnight. The decision was made after students reported difficulties in accessing their answer sheets and submitting applications since the portal's launch on June 2. The CBSE stated that it aims to provide additional support for students to complete the verification process. The online portal allows students to report issues such as missing pages or incorrect evaluations. Furthermore, some students have expressed concerns that the scanned copies of their answer sheets do not match their handwriting, raising questions about the reliability of the on-screen marking (OSM) system. In light of these issues, the Cabinet Secretariat has announced the formation of a one-member committee to investigate the procurement of services related to the OSM system, underscoring the board's commitment to addressing these concerns effectively.
