Delhi Police's Crime Branch has filed a 5,000-page chargesheet in connection with a planned shirtless protest at the India AI Impact Summit 2026, which took place on February 20 at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. The investigation revealed that over a month, members of the Indian Youth Congress (IYC) held more than a dozen meetings to strategize the protest, including creating a WhatsApp group named 'AI Impact Group'. The chargesheet names 18 individuals, including IYC president Uday Bhanu Chib and in-charge Manish Sharma, as key conspirators. On the day of the protest, 14 individuals entered the summit venue wearing jackets over T-shirts featuring images of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Donald Trump. They raised slogans against the India-US trade deal and other political issues. The police noted that the group initially planned to protest at Jantar Mantar but shifted their focus to the summit venue for greater visibility.
